To achieve the SVQ candidates must complete a total of eight Units.
Mandatory Units
Candidates must complete the following Units:
- DR62 04 2R1/04 Deal with communications
- DR6N 04 1GEN1/04 Maintain a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
- D78W 04 1GEN4/04 Contribute to effective teamwork (CfA)
- D3XB 04 2GEN1/04 Give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation (ICS)
Optional Units A
The candidate must complete two of the following Units:
- DR65 04 2R2/04 Deal with the arrival of customers
- DR60 04 2R3/04 Deal with bookings
- DR99 04 2R4/04 Prepare customer accounts and deal with departures
- DR6V 04 1GEN2/04 Maintain and deal with payments
Optional Units B
The candidate must complete two of the following Units:
- DR6D 04 2R5/04 Exchange foreign cash and travellers’ cheques
- D79G 04 2R6/04 Prepare and print documents using a computer (CfA)
- D7AP 04 2R7/04 Record, store and supply information using a paperbased filing system (CfA)
- DR6F 04 2R8/04 Handle mail and book external services
- D3XE 04 2R9/04 Resolve customer service problems (ICS)
- D79X 04 2R10/04 Enter, retrieve and print data in a database (CfA)
- DR6L 04 2R11/04 Identify and provide tourism related information and advice
